Product Description
This 4k solar powered Wi-Fi trail camera is a wildlife and surveillance camera for monitoring activity in areas which are difficult to reach with traditional surveillance solutions (ie rural properties, external buildings, sheds etc). It is powered by an internal battery pack which is recharged via the top mount solar panel.
To supplement the lithium battery in cold weather environments 4 x AA batteries can be added or external USB power. Battery life is dependant on the amount of movement triggers occurring, video clip duration and other settings, however the camera should be capable of recording over long periods without a recharge.
The 30MP camera sensor provides high resolution still-shot capability during the day or night with adjustable shutter speed and number of shots taken when triggered. In video mode the resolution can be set between 368P and 4K with adjustable clip duration between 5 seconds and 180 seconds.
The PIR interval can also be adjusted, allowing you to customise the frequency of recorded photos/clips to prevent excessive shots from filling your storage. The PIR will trigger at a distance of up to 20m with IR night time coverage over a similar distance.
Three recording modes are available, photo only, video only or photo+video (which takes both pictures and video at every triggered event).
Note: Requires an SD card for recording, maximum of 256GB.
Wi-Fi Function
The Wi-Fi function provides a quick way to check recorded clips and photos, plus download them to your device. First the "Game Camera Pro" app must be downloaded to the device, activate the camera's local hotspot and connect to it on your device. The app then allows you to browse the recorded clips and photos. Alternatively the SD card can be removed and reviewed on another device.
